NLC prepares for second phase of cannabis legalization

St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador, December 16th, 2019

As required by the Cannabis Act, amendments came into effect October 17th, 2019, at which time federal license holders were required to provide 60 days’ notice to Health Canada of their intent to sell new products. In addition to this notice, federally licensed processors must comply with new rules and produce products, while retailers require time to purchase new products and make available to sell. While Licensed Cannabis Retailers and have a limited number of new items now available, additional products will be coming to the market in the weeks and months ahead. Please stay tuned for updates!
